SPECIAL LINE CONSTRUCTION

Design and installation (software, electric panel, machine instrumentation) of a fully automated line for folding the evaporator coils of refrigerators (eight parts processed simultaneously).

A SIEMENS 840C NC with twelve-axes control, eight of which are interpolated, manages this line. It is operative at the “Condenser” in Varese.

PET BOTTLE MACHINES

Design and installation of electric panels for prototype machines (even high power – 800 kW) for SIPA. We also build the electric panels for the machines produced to order.

ELECTROLUX ELETTROMECCANICA

Total revamp of MV and LV systems at the Electrolux Elettromeccanica plant in Rovigo. Two transformer cabinets were installed (cabinet 1- 2x1250 kVA and cabinet 2 – 1x1250 kVA), all wiring and cabling, the lighting system, and the technical services systems. (compressed air, heating, process water for cooling, etc.)

Realization on behalf of Enel “National Agency for Electrical Energy” of a center called “Centre teleinformatica” (CTI), in each compartment, the exercise of the information system, with reference to all business processes, administrative, teniche , personnel management, etc ..

RETROFITTING MACHINE TOOLS

The free movement of goods, for the protection of the safety and health persons, is one of the four fundamental freedoms that are the foundation of the Constitution of the European Union. The harmonization in terms of legislation and certification of the various member states is key to reaching this objective while protecting the safety and health of persons. This is possible by adopting specific common strategies and especially with the publication and application of directives. The directives of the European Community for the safety and health of persons can be divided in to social directives, which deal with the aspects of general interest and overall social importance (for example the directive on the worker health and safety, the directive on defective product responsibility, etc.) and product directives, which define the essential requirements that a product must meet in order to move freely within the European Market. The machine directive, regarding electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage, falls into this second category.

This breif introduction serves to indicate that these directives call for, among other things, the ability of the machines to meet the same standards of the European Community. This all falls within overall safety, which is identified as worker health and safety. However, often the electromechanical functions performed by machine tools, to obtain the machined product, have been replaced by modern technologies that require the use of PLCs. At times, mechanical functions are simply performed by pneumatics instead of electronics. In any case, all aspects of production and safety must be coordinated with great precision.
